Romanian athlete Andreea Beatrice Ana won the silver medal in the 53 kg category, on Friday evening, at the European Wrestling Championships in Bratislava (Slovakia), after being defeated in the final by Greek Maria Prevolaraki (3-4).

On Thursday, in the quarterfinals, the Romanian defeated Ukrainian Lilia Malanciuk, and in the semifinals she defeated Russian Natalia Malisheva.

In the 62 kg category, Roxana Capezan lost in requalifications against Turkish Selvi Ilyasoglu.

Athlete of Ukrainian origin Kateryna Zelenykh also won the silver medal for Romania, after being defeated by Belarusian Alina Shevciuk, in the final of the 68 kg category, Agerpres informs.
