The National Integrity Agency (ANI) has launched on its website a section devoted to the parliamentary elections scheduled for December 2016, as a measure to increase transparency and prevent incompatibilities and conflicts of interest.
According to an ANI release, the measures is aimed at optimising the process of filling in the declarations of assets and interests by the candidates, providing specialist assistance in respect to the legal regime of incompatibilities and conflicts of interest, but also at informing the civil society on the obligations the participants in the election process have.
Available on the Agency's website, at the https://www.integritate.eu/Alegeri-Parlamentare-2016 address, the section gathers several categories of useful data among which: incompatibility and conflict of interest cases, useful guides, integrity legislation and frequent questions, persons under the interdiction to run for an eligible office, irregularities in declarations of assets and interests, declarations of assets and interests filed by candidates.
