Bucharest Stock Exchange closes higher Thursday's session

The Bucharest Stock Exchange closed Thursday's session higher and the total value of transactions amounted to 186.95 million lei (35.54 million euros).

The Bucharest Stock Exchange's main index, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, rose by 1.14% to 32,053.91 points.

The BET-Plus index, reflecting the performance of the 43 most liquid stocks, closed 1.08% higher, while the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, tracking the 25 most liquid securities, rose 0.93%. The BET-FI index, covering financial investment companies, recorded a 0.53% decline.

The BET-BK index, the yield benchmark for investment funds, rose by 0.44%, and the BET-NG index, measuring the performance of ten energy and utility companies, closed up 1.54%.

The BET AeRO index, comprising 20 representative companies from the AeRO market, recorded a 0.86% drop.

On the Regulated Market, the most liquid shares were those of Banca Transilvania, generating trades worth 36.20 million lei, followed by OMV Petrom with 28.31 million lei and Romgaz with 16.74 million lei. The best performances were recorded by the shares of Sinteza (+14.65%), SOCEP (+5.98%), and Electro-Alfa International (+5.48%).

On the other hand, the most significant declines were posted by the shares of AETA (-9.30%), Artego (-6.18%), and Condmag (-6.00%).
