The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed higher on most indices Tuesday's session, with the value of share transactions reaching 68.713 million RON.
The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, appreciated by 0.77%, to 18,705.16 points, while BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the Exchange, closed 0.70% up.
The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, recorded an advance of 0.62%, while the SIF index, BET-FI, depreciated by 0.51%.
The BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, increased by 0.34%, and BET-NG, which measures the performance of ten energy and utility companies, closed up by 0.95%.
The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, closed up by 0.09%.
The most liquid stocks were those of Banca Transilvania, with transactions of 17.086 million RON, followed by BRD shares, with 12.949 million RON, and Electrica, with 7.241 million RON.
The best developments were recorded by Romcab shares (+14.21%), Condmag (+13.04%) and Sinteza (+4.76%).
On the other hand, the most significant decreases were recorded by Armatura shares (-13.29%), Globinvest Energy&Financials ETF open-end investment fund (-5.49%) and AETA (-4.93%).
