The Bucharest Stock Exchange closed higher the trading session on Tuesday, with total trading having reached 148.18 million lei (28.32 million euros).
The main index of the Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, appreciated by 0.03%, up to 30,179.49 points, while BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the Exchange, stagnated.
The BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment funds' performance, increased by 0.52%, and BET-NG, which measures the evolution of the ten energy and utility companies, registered an advance of 0.41%.
The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, recorded an increase of 0.11%, while the SIF index, BET-FI, closed up by 0.06%.
The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, appreciated by 0.33%.
The most liquid stocks were those of Hidroelectrica, with transactions of 25.8 million lei, followed by Banca Transilvania shares, with 25.21 million lei, and Transelectrica, with almost 17.15 million lei.
The best developments were recorded by Sinteza shares (+8.96%), Santierul Naval Orsova (+6.02%) and Electrica (+4.56%).
The most significant declines were recorded by the shares of Energopetrol Company (-11.05%), Carbochim (-6.67%) and Green Tech International (-3.33%).
