Bucharest Stock Exchange closes higher Wednesday's trading session

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Wednesday's trading session higher on most indices, with transactions totaling 34.14 million RON (6.73 million euros).

The most liquid shares were those of Banca Transilvania, with trades totaling 4.9 million RON, followed by Hidroelectrica shares, with almost 2.64 million RON, and by Fondul Proprietatea shares, with 2.56 million RON.

The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, appreciated by 0.28%, up to 20,629.78 points, while BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the Exchange, closed up by 0.25%.

The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, recorded an advance of 0.26%, while the SIF index, BET-FI, decreased by 0.28%.

Also, the BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, closed up 0.32, and the BET-NG, which measures the performance of ten energy and utility companies, rose 0.39%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, recorded a decrease of 0.14%.

The best developments were recorded by the shares of Societatea de Constructii Napoca (+15%), Casa de Bucovina Club de Munte (+6.96%) and Artego (+6.19%).

On the other hand, the most significant decreases were recorded by the shares of Condmag (-9.68%), UAMT (-5.79%) and Santierul Naval Orsova (-4.55%).
