The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed higher across all indices on Tuesday, with a total turnover of 86.654 million RON (17.026 million EUR), of which equity transactions accounted for 51.243 million RON (10.068 million EUR).
The main BVB index, BET, which tracks the 20 most traded companies on the regulated market, rose 0.77% to 23,017.83 points, while BET-Plus, reflecting the performance of the 43 most liquid shares, ended up 0.72%.
The BET-BK index, a benchmark for investment fund performance, gained 1.01%, and BET-NG, which tracks ten energy and utilities companies, increased by 0.68%.
Additionally, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, covering the 25 most liquid stocks, rose 0.74%, while the SIFs index, BET-FI, closed up 0.67%.
The BET AeRO index, including 20 representative companies from the AeRO market, gained 0.50% compared with the previous session.
The most liquid shares were Hidroelectrica with transactions of 11.086 million RON, followed by BRD - Groupe Societe Generale (5.952 million RON) and Banca Transilvania (5.931 million RON).
The top performers were Armatura (+9.52%), Prefab (+7.83%) and Mecanica Ceahlau (+6%).
The largest declines were recorded by Turism, Hoteluri, Restaurante Marea Neagra (-9.4%), Bittnet Systems (-5.75%) and Sinteza (-4.58%).
