The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Wednesday's session lower on almost all indices, with total trading of 121.54 million lei (23.87 million euros), of which share transactions represented 99.8 million lei (19.6 million euros), inform Agerpres.
The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, declined by 0.4pct, to 22,809.56 points, while BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the Exchange, closed lower by 0.38pct.
Moreover, the BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, rose by 0.11pct, while the BET-NG, which measures the performance of 10 energy and utility companies, recorded a decline of 0.78pct.
The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, recorded a decline by 0.25pct, while the SIF index, BET-FI, went up 0.78pct.
Furthermore, the BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, dropped 0.44pct.
The most liquid stocks were those of Cris-Tim Family Holding, with transactions of 25.08 million lei, followed by Banca Transilvania, with 15.16 million lei and OMV Petrom with 8.94 million lei.
The best developments were recorded by COMCM Constanta shares (+7.46pct), Comelf (+4.29pct) and Electromagnetica (+3.81pct).
On the other hand, the most significant decreases were recorded by the shares of UAMT (-9.31pct), Bermas (-4.69pct) and Sinteza (-3.82pct).
