On a visit to Bucharest on Thursday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said that there is a potential for energy cooperation between Ukraine and Romania.
"We need to carry out energy projects as quickly as possible. It is important for us and for the whole of Europe," he said at a press conference held at the Cotroceni Presidential Palace together with Romania's President Nicusor Dan.
Zelenskiy added that Romania and Ukraine are working on opening new border crossings.
He was invited by Dan to participate in May in a B9 meeting.
