Bucharest Stock Exchange closes mixed Thursday's session

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Thursday's session mixed, with the value of transactions rising to 35.36 million RON (6.97 million euros).

The most liquid stocks were those of Banca Transilvania, with transactions totaling 8.45 million RON, followed by Erste Group Bank shares, with 2.59 million RON, and OMV Petrom shares, with 1.74 million RON.

The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, rose by 0.11%, up to 20,651.99 points, while BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the Exchange, closed up by 0.12%.

The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, recorded an advance of 0.07%, while the SIF index, BET-FI, decreased by 0.10%.

Also, the BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, closed down by 0.05, while the BET-NG, which measures the performance of ten energy and utility companies, rose by 0.11%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, recorded a decrease of 0.55%.

The best developments were recorded by the shares of Compa SA (+8.56%), Mecanica Ceahlau (+8%) and Condmag (+7.14%).

On the other hand, the most significant decreases were recorded by the shares of Promateris (-10.42%), Farmaceutica Remedia (-5.29%) and SIF Hoteluri (-3.67%).
