The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed lower on most indices on Thursday's session, with the total value of transactions standing at 41.859 million RON.
The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, depreciated by 0.24%, to 18,651.06 points, while BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the Exchange, closed down by 0.23%.
The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, recorded a decline of 0.18%, while the SIF index, BET-FI, appreciated by 0.46%.
The BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, closed down by 0.26%, and the BET-NG, which measures the performance of ten energy and utility companies, closed down by 0.35%.
The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, went down by 0.14%.
The most liquid stocks were those of OMV Petrom, with transactions of 10.847 million RON, followed by Banca Transilvania shares, with 8.184 million RON, and Fondul Proprietatea, with 2.619 million RON.
The best developments were recorded by the shares of Condmag (+13.79%), Rompetrol Well Services (+9.12%) and Sinteza (+7.81%).
On the other hand, the most significant decreases were recorded by the shares of Comelf (-12.84%), UAMT (-6.25%) and Aerostar (-4.47%). AGERPRES
