The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Tuesday's trading session with a decrease in most indices, and the exchanges amounted to 70.64 million RON (13.92 million euros).
The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, depreciated by 0.29%, to 20,572.06 points, while BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the Stock Exchange, closed down by 0.56%.
The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, recorded a decline of 0.50%, and the SIF index, BET-FI, increased by 0.52%.
Also, the BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, closed down 0.50%, while BET-NG, which measures the performance of ten energy and utility companies, fell 0.69%.
At the same time, the BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, recorded an increase of 0.72%.
The most liquid securities were those of OMV Petrom, with transactions totaling 19.63 million lei, followed by Banca Transilvania shares, with 14.56 million lei, and those of Intercapital BET-TRN UCITS ETF, with 3.5 million lei.
At the same time, the best developments were recorded by shares of Carbochim (+6.16%), ROCA Industry Holding (+4.87%) and Green Tech International (+3.92%).
The most significant decreases were recorded by the shares of Societatea de Constructii Napoca (-14.53%), Casa de Bucovina Club de Munte (-6.51%) and Turism, Hoteluri, Restaurante Marea Neagra (-5.5%).
