Bucharest Stock Exchange opens in the red on all indices on Friday

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Friday's session down on all indices, with transactions amounting to 7.1 million RON in total (1.4 million euros), 30 minutes into the trading.

The main BET index, which shows the development of the 20 most liquid companies, dropped 0.35%, and the BET-Plus index, which shows the development of the 43 most liquid shares on the BVB, decreased 0.38%.

At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid titles, lost 0.38%, while the benchmark for investment fund performance, BET-BK, depreciated by 0.69%.

The BET-FI index of SIFs went down 0.44%, and the BET-NG, the index of the 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, lost 0.20%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, was down 1.31%.

According to BVB data, the largest increases in share value were recorded by Comelf (+8.14%), Oil Terminal (+2.61%) and IAR Brasov (+1.13%).

On the other hand, shares of Aerostar (-3.93%), Sinteza (-3.85%) and Patria Bank (-3.61%) were down.
