Bucharest Stock Exchange opens on rise on Wednesday

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) on Wednesday open on the rise on most indices, with the value of transactions amounting to Ron 4.162 million (836,637 euros), after the first 30 minutes of trading.

The main BET index, which shows the evolution of the 20 most liquid companies, saw an appreciation of 0.41%, and the BET-Plus index, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares from the BVB, recorded an advance of 0.40%.

At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid titles, rose by 0.34%, while the performance benchmark of investment funds, BET-BK, rose by 0.25%.

The BET-FI index of SIFs was down by 0.03%, and the BET-NG, the index of 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, recorded an advance of 0.26%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, was up by 0.48%.

According to BVB data, the biggest increases in the value of shares were recorded by Fondul Proprietatea (+2.06%), SSIF BRK Financial Group (+1.88%) and Prefab (+1.60%).

On the other hand, the shares of Vrancart (-2.44%), Electromagnetica (-2.40%) and Sphera Franchise Group (-1.27%) were decreasing.
