Dacia on Tuesday presented at the Paris Motor Show the new 1.3 TCe available for the Duster model.
The propeller is available in two power versions - 130 HP (96kW) t 5000 rpm and a maximum couple of 240 Nm to 1500 t/min, by 5 HP more compared with the previous generation, respectively 150 HP (110kW) to 5250 and a maximum couple of 250 Nm to 1600 t/min, by 25 HP more compared with the previous generation.
The new gasoline engines will be available from the start for the Duster 4x2 model and starting in mid-2019 for the 4x4 versions too.
The car producer also announced at the Paris Motor Show that the Dacia range models will benefit by the end of the year of a performing navigation system. The new version of the Media Nav Evolution system ensures a faster and easier access to a wide range of functions and applications and it will be available for sale at the same price as the previous version.
On the other hand, Dacia marked their having reached 5 million passenger cars sold since the beginning of 2004 through a collaborative project created together with its online fans community and called #DaciaRoadStories.
"This project has mobilized more than one million fans from the social networks, who watched for two months the journey of nine ambassadors of this brand. While driving Duster cars, they traveled through Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, Denmark, UK and France. (...) The numerous personal traveling impressions and itinerary suggestions received from the entire online community were gathered in a guide called #DaciaRoadStories," specified a release of the car producer.
The Paris Motor Show opened its gates on Tuesday for the media representatives, who will be able to visit for two days the stands of the producers present at the event organised in the French capital. The exhibition will be open to the public from October 4 until 14.
