Romanian boxer Daniela Larisa Gheba won the silver medal in the 80 kg category, on Thursday, at the European Under-19 Boxing Championships in Ostrava (Czech Republic), after being defeated in the final by Turkish Aysenur Karaoglan, by technical knockout in the second round, inform Agerpres.
Thus, Romania ends the competition with a record of one silver medal and four bronze medals.
The bronze medals were won by Rebeca Micaela Muller (54 kg category), Mirela Elisa Cojocaru (57 kg category), Razvan Ionut Panainte (50 kg category) and Daniel Adrian Grigorie (70 kg category).
Romania participated with 15 athletes, 8 in the male category and 7 in the female category, at the European Under-19 Boxing Championships in Ostrava, the tricolors' objective being to win at least two medals.
