The Minister of National Defense, Angel Tilvar, visited, on Friday, the Military Tailor's and the Inspections and Testing Laboratory of the Ministry of National Defence (MApN), affirming in this context that there are premises for increasing the quality of the equipment intended for the Romanian military.
"The tailor's and laboratories, put into use this summer, meet the needs of the Romanian Army, but also of other institutions in the security architecture of the country. I was interested in the working conditions in which the employees of these units carry out their activity and I have reasons to think that this component of the quality of life is also satisfied," the minister said, according to the quoted source.
In the tailoring workshop, products and elements of military equipment specific to the Romanian Army can be made.
The inspection unit includes a textile, leather and rubber testing laboratory, a food quality testing laboratory, as well as a fuel and lubricant testing laboratory.
