Vulnerable consumers will receive aid starting this autumn to pay for their energy and gas invoices, if law allowing the allocation of these aids is approved by Parliament in September, Energy Minister Virgil Popescu informs.
He participated in a meeting at the Victoria Palace with PM Florin Citu and representatives of the National Energy regulatory Authority ANRE, Transelectrica, OPCOM energy exchange and the Competition Council.
Also, according to him, the the authorities are considering a modality to grant an additional amount during the winter to a larger category of consumers besides the vulnerable ones.
