The chairman of the National Liberal Party (PNL), Nicolae Ciuca, highlighted on Monday that, following the analysis of the results of the European Parliament and local elections made in the meeting of the National Political Bureau, the conclusion drawn reveals that the PNL is "the strongest right-wing political structure" in Romania, with a score of 30 percent in the June 9 poll.

"The first topic of the meeting of the National Political Bureau of the PNL was the analysis of the results of the local and European Parliament elections. We had a very obvious conclusion: at the PNL level, a score of over 30 percent was obtained both in terms of the political score in the councils in counties, in the number of mayors, in the number of county councilors and in the number of local councilors. It is very important that 2,500,000 Romanians opted for PNL, they voted for it, which still gives us the status of the strongest right-wing political structure in Romania. I thank the Romanians once again who have faith in the National Liberal Party," said Ciuca after the meeting of the National Political Bureau of the party.
