The government will allocate RON 32 million to support the Romanian athletes at the Paris Summer Olympic Games, Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu announced on Thursday.
"We are approving today RO 32 million for the National Agency for Sports to support the Romanian athletes competing at the Paris Olympic Games.
I went to Snagov and Izvorani the other day to wish success to the athletes and coaches of the Olympic team and I told them that an entire country is waiting for them to make us as happy and proud as our footballers did at Euro 2024," Ciolacu said at the beginning of a government meeting.
