The Minister of Health, Alexandru Rafila, declared on Friday, in Timisoara, that the fight against corruption in the health system is necessary because corruption generates underdevelopment, stagnation and deprives patients of quality medical services.
The minister of health participated, on Friday, in the first training session for managers and those who deal with public procurement in the health sector, which took place in Timisoara.
Rafila explained that it is about good practices in the field of integrity and anti-corruption practices that must govern what the Ministry of Health is doing at the moment, namely the unprecedented investments in the health system.
According to him, the Ministry of Health started all the projects from the National Rehabilitation and Resilience Program (PNRR), restarted the programmes blocked in the period 2020 - 2021 for the construction of new centres for people with burns, and other important projects that refer to the equipment of laboratories radiotherapy have already been completed.
