A helicopter training exercise, organized by the American military forces at 57 Mihail Kogalniceanu Base, will take place on Thursday, July 11, with overflights to be made over the city of Constanta, the local administration informed on Wednesday.
According to the same source, the aviation units of the United States of America Army stationed at the 57 Mihail Kogalniceanu Air Base will carry out this training exercise for helicopters on Thursday.
"The flights will take place near the military base at Mihail Kogalniceanu, as well as in the Constanta County Hospital area. The training includes low-altitude flights and loud noises during the overflights," reads a press release sent by the Constanta City Hall.
The exercise will take place in compliance with safety protocols, in coordination with the local military and aviation authorities.
