Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan declared on Friday that the administrative reorganization can be done from 2028, informs Agerpres.
"The administrative reorganization can be done only as of 2028 and there is time until then to find a formula to seriously discuss this project. Don't forget that this means a vote, it means organic laws, it means strong parliamentary support", said Bolojan, after the government meeting.
He emphasized that first of all, a more efficient local administration is needed.
"Let's reward performance in the administration. You collected your taxes, the state budget gives you a directly proportional balancing amount. So, there must be a system which makes the administration more efficient, because in the administration too, apart from demonizing everyone, there are performing mayors, there are people from the local public administration, in the county councils, simple people, who do their duty there", added the prime minister.
