Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan, leader of the PNL, stated on Thursday that when you hold a public office, you meet with many people, and the idea of isolating yourself is false, pointing out that he was careful not to break people's trust, agerpres reports.
"What you can do is have a log of your comings and goings, to have these public meetings, that you have nothing to hide, and I told you, in a meeting, obviously, when you meet new people, people might come who have an agenda that is not in order, but I told you, the problem is who you meet with, the problem is whether those people ask you something or not and I haven't been asked anything inappropriate and, two, if they do ask you something, how do you respond? And in all these years, meeting all kinds of people, with all kinds of problems, I knew what the limit of the possibilities is to do one thing or another and if you look at my work, you won't find scandals of this type, because I tried to honor the trust that was given to me by the vote citizens, so as not to make fun of this vote. (...) The idea of ??isolating yourself is false," Prime Minister Bolojan said on Euronews Romania.
The Head of Government showed that he was always careful not to break the people's trust.
"In the meetings I have had since I have been the president of the PNL, I have met with countless colleagues who had political problems, administrative problems. Think about it, if a county council president who is also the president of the organization comes, most of the time he comes with the problems of their administration, we have a belt that never ends, there is a project that does not have the approvals and so on, and these discussions are inevitable, but, as I told you, it depends on what you do and I have been careful not to break the people's trust in me all these years," Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan also mentioned.
