President Klaus Iohannis on Wednesday morning was discharged from the Central Military Hospital of Bucharest, where on Tuesday he underwent surgery on his right shoulder.
After surgery, Iohannis said he will resume his work on Wednesday.
"Today I have underwent surgery to the right shoulder. The intervention has been successful, I feel all right and tomorrow I will resume my work at the Cotroceni Palace [seat of the Presidential Administration]. I appreciate the work of the medical team and I thank the whole staff of the Dr. Carol Davila Central Military University Emergency Hospital," Iohannis said Tuesday in a Facebook post.
Iohannis had been scheduled to meet Prime Minister Dacian Ciolos in their weekly meeting.
On Tuesday, Ciolos said he would meet Iohannis, because President Klaus Iohannis on Wednesday, as the head of state is the one who "can say more" about his possible dissatisfactions with the Executive. AGERPRES
