Bucharest Stock Exchange closes Friday's session in the red on most indices

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Friday's session down on most indices, with a total turnover of 96.25 million RON (18.89 million euros).

The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, depreciated by 0.23%, to 27,438.41 points, while BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the Stock Exchange, closed down by 0.28%.

The BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, closed down 0.35%, and the BET-NG, which measures the performance of ten energy and utility companies, registered an advance of 0.21%.

The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, recorded a decrease of 0.16%, while the SIF index, BET-FI, closed up by 0.49%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, depreciated by 0.31%.

The most liquid securities were those of Banca Transilvania, with transactions of 21.98 million RON, followed by OMV Petrom shares - 12.76 million RON, and those of the ETF BET Patria-Tradeville Open-Ended Investment Fund - almost 5.57 million RON.

The best developments were seen in the shares of Energopetrol Company (+13.23%), Armatura (+9.88) and Mecanica Ceahlau (+8.7%).

The most significant decreases were recorded by the shares of Farmaceutica Remedia (-3.33%), Electromagnetica (-3.2%) and Rompetrol Rafinare (-2.87%).
