President Klaus Iohannis on Friday filed with the Constitutional Court of Romania (CCR) a constitutionality objection over a law amending and supplementing Law 286/2009 on the Criminal Code, as well as Law 78/2000 on the prevention, detection and punishment of corruption, according to the Presidential Administration.
Parliament submitted both laws to the President for promulgation May 2, 2019.
