Prosecutor Adina Florea, who was proposed as the head prosecutor of the National Anticorruption Directorate (DNA), "has no integrity incidents of a nature to arouse suspicion," Minister of Justice Tudorel Toader declared, on Monday, at the Superior Council of Magistrates (CSM).

He underlined that Adina Florea's CV shows that she has professional experience and managerial skills, specific to the position.

"Today we have no evidence in the documentation we are examining the fact that there are such suspicious in relation to her, reasonable doubt, with regard to any crime having been committed. In conclusion, from the Ministry of Justice, the committee appreciated unanimously that Ms. Florea, from all the other candidates, and I bring to mind that there was a second round of selection, best meets the requirements to be proposed as a candidate for taking on the DNA leadership," Toader said.

Adina Florea, the proposal of the Minister of Justice for the position of chief prosecutor of DNA, is due to hold an interview on Monday, before the Prosecutors' Section of the Superior Council of Magistrates, which will give an advisory opinion.
