The strong, financially stable businesses that pay in time their dues to the state and generate profit represent roughly 5.6 pct of all companies in Romania, most of them being microenterprises, found a study conducted by a commercial risk management company sent to Agerpres on Thursday. These businesses generated over 86 pct of the profit made by all of Romanian companies and over 40 pct of the turnover they've got, says the study by Credintinfo Romania, conducted to inform the market about an international certificate on the respective companies. Rd 75 pct of these institutions are microenterprises. This percentage is by over 2 pct higher this year, against last year.

"The analyses emphasize that it is much more profitable for a company to have a fair payment behavior. Moreover, the highest share of strong companies are the microenterprises, which are businesses counting for less than nine employees. Thus, the microenterprises are not weak companies, but on the contrary they are the Romanian economy's engine," the representatives of the research-makers say.

The strong companies pay their dues to the state within 99 days, almost 4 time faster than the 355-day national average and 5 times faster as compared to the rest of the institutions that pay their dues in 542 days. In case of receivables recovery, a strong business is recovering them in 70 days, whilst the national average is over twice as big, at 166 days. The field with the most solvable, strongest businesses is road freight transport with almost 4,400 companies that observe the eligibility criteria, followed by retail businesses parked at over 3,000, and construction with rd 3,000 financially strong companies.
