Prime Minister Nicolae Ciuca requested on Wednesday to all institutions in charge of meeting the standards of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) to treat with "maximum priority" the activities necessary to achieve the line objectives, underscoring that, for Romania, the accession to the OECD is a strategic objective.
The Executive head coordinated on Thursday, at the Victoria Palace, the meeting of the Inter-ministerial Committee for the coordination of Romania's relations with the OECD.
According to a release of the Government, it was analyzed the stage of the accession process after the successful completion of the first stage through the submission, in Paris, of the initial Memorandum, at the end of last year.
