CSM CSU Raiffeisen Oradea was defeated by the Turkish team Aliaga Petkimspor with a score of 84-73 (21-18, 21-15, 21-19, 21-21), on Wednesday, in Izmir, in Group C of the FIBA Europe Cup men's basketball competition.
The Romanian vice-champions were dominated for three quarters of the game, managing to play on an equal footing with the host team only in the last quarter.
CSM Oradea was coming off two consecutive victories in the group.
The other group match, Petrolina AEK Larnaca - CSM Corona Brasov, is also taking place on Wednesday (Kition Athletic Center - Larnaca, 19:00).
Aliaga Petkimspor holds the first place, with 5 points, followed by CSM CSU Oradea - 5 points, Petrolina AEK Larnac - 3 points, Corona Braso - 2 points.
CSM CSU Oradea will also play its next away match, on November 5, against Petrolina AEK Larnaca.
