Minister-delegate for European Affairs Victor Negrescu on Monday signed the condolence book opened at the Spanish Embassy in Bucharest in memory of last week's victims of Spain terror attacks.

"I signed today the condolence book opened at the Embassy of Spain to Romania, expressing my regret for the tragedy that happened last week in Barcelona and Cambrils. Innocent victims must remain in our souls, so that no such events happen again. My thoughts also go out to those who were injured in this intolerable attack, and I am wishing them speedy recovery. I am convinced, in the name of the friendship that links our peoples, that we owe ourselves to defend the values of democracy and freedom and cultivate solidarity and dialogue in a world plagued by violence. Only together can we fight against acts of violence and terrorism!," Negrescu says in a Facebook post, according to Agerpres.
