Oil Terminal gross profit 23.1% higher at September end

Oil Terminal gross profit for the first nine months of the year was 23.1% higher compared with the same period in 2024, according to the financial report released to the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) on Thursday.

At the end of September 2025, the operating result (EBIT) recorded an increase of 10.2%, EBITDA rose 14.5%, and labour productivity in value terms (lei per person) increased 2.9% compared with the level approved through the revised revenue and expenditure budget.

Company representatives estimate that in the fourth quarter of this year, turnover will remain within the budgeted limits for this period, total preliminary expenses will be proportional to the degree of achievement of total revenues, and gross profit will reach at least the level approved for 31 December 2025.

According to the report, cumulative turnover as of 30 September 2025 exceeded 304 million lei, marking an absolute decrease of 48 million lei compared with the same period of the previous year.

The company's long-term debt also increased to 242 million lei (revised form) as of 30 September, from 204.9 million lei on 30 December 2024 (audited form).

In September 2025, the average number of employees stood at 1,014, compared with 1,015 in September 2024.

Oil Terminal, located in the Port of Constanta, is the largest national terminal for the import and export of crude oil, petroleum products and petrochemicals.

The company's main services include the reception, storage, conditioning and dispatch of crude oil, fuel oil, petroleum, petrochemical and liquid chemical products for import, export and transit; physical-chemical testing of the handled products; physical-chemical testing for third parties in its own laboratories; and the repair and maintenance of its installations and equipment.

The company has been listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) since 9 February 1998 under the symbol OIL, with the majority shareholder being the Romanian state through the Ministry of Energy (87.7% of shares), while the remaining shares are held by individuals (9.6%) and legal entities (2.63%).
