Documentary films and debates on justice and the rule of law will be presented in Bucharest, from September 26 to December 7, as part of the project "One World Romania in Neighborhoods", the organizers said in a press release sent to Agerpres on Friday.

The project aims to expand the capital's cultural life beyond the city center, using the artistic and educational approaches that have defined the One World Romania International Documentary and Human Rights Film Festival in recent years. These initiatives promote social cohesion, civic engagement, and interethnic and intergenerational dialogue, strengthening local (micro-)communities, the cited source specifies.

The events will take place according to the following schedule:

* Sept. 26-28, Armenian Quarter, at Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung e.V. - South-East Europe Rule of Law Program; main themes: justice and rule of law.

* Oct. 3-5, Titan and Pallady neighborhoods, in IOR Park, at the co/laborator film space and the Bucharest Metropolitan Library - Liviu Rebreanu Branch; theme: environmental protection.

* Oct. 22-24, Rahova neighborhood, at Gymnasium School No. 127; theme: media and cultural education.

* Nov. 12-14, Piata Presei, at the UNHCR Community Center for Refugees - RomExpo; theme: home/migration/refugees.

* Nov. 20-22, Uranus neighborhood, at Zi de Bine Community Center; theme: intergenerational dialogue.

* Dec. 5-7, Militari neighborhood, at Masca Theatre; theme: community practices.

All events are free to attend, subject to availability.

The events under "One World Romania in Neighborhoods" are part of the project "Community Documentary: Workshops, Debates, and Screenings of Human Rights and Documentary Films in Bucharest Neighborhoods", a cultural initiative co-funded by the National Cultural Fund Administration.

The events are organized by the One World Romania Association.
