The National Public Pension House (CNPP) has not sent to the Post Office the pension recalculation decisions to 170,000 people, for objective reasons, and they will arrive in September, institution president Daniel Baciu told a press conference organised at the Labour Ministry on Tuesday, informs Agerpres.ro.

"They were not actually sent by my colleagues from the pension offices to the Post Office, because from the start we stopped them, as we have situations where these pensioners entered the system in August. They were supposed to get a pension decision first, according to Law 263, and then they will have to get a recalculation decision, according to Law 360 / 2023. We have requests for recalculation, several thousand requests for recalculation every year, where pensioners are working, either working after retirement, or adding various permanent bonuses this time, not non-permanent, bonuses provided by Law 263/2010. These requests must first be solved, according to the old legislation, (...) afterwards we will have to issue recalculation decisions according to the new law," said Daniel Baciu.

He also mentioned that there are decisions of the High Court of Cassation and Justice in general in the mining area, in Gorj and Hunedoara counties.

CNPP employees must enforce them, and at the moment pensioners receive these decisions according to the decision of the High Court of Cassation and Justice. The total number of points has to be updated and only afterwards the persons in question can get their recalculation decisions.

"These are some objective causes that I have told you and when we will finalise all these operations of issuing all these decisions and all the works that the pensioners have in various stages, undergoing, then we will issue the recalculation decision," added Daniel Baciu.

The head of the CNPP said that they are trying to send the decisions this month, but it depends on the company that maintains the integrated computer system of the National Public Pension House.
