The Palace of Culture in Iasi received the Special Centennial Award at the Destination of the Year 2025 Gala, an event where the regions, cities and the most valuable and representative tourist and cultural destinations in the country are valued.

The Palace of Culture is the host of four of the eleven museums within the "Moldova" National Museum Complex in Iasi, who receive more than 370,000 visitors last year.

According to the organizers of the "Destination of the Year," during the festivities held in Sibiu on Tuesday evening, te most competitive sections were won by the Danube Delta, Tulcea, 1st place in the "Enchanted Realms" category, the municipality of Oradea, which received the "Inspiring Cities" trophy, the Rimetea locality in Alba County, which ranked 1st in the "Fairytale Villages" category and the Sovata resort, which received the most votes in the "Balneo-climatic Resorts" category.

The Grand Prize for the Destination of the Year 2025 in Romania was awarded to the Danube Delta.

The Astra Museum, Sibiu, and the Dino Park, Rasnov, were designated Destinations of the Year in the "Culture and Education" and "Fun and Adventure" categories, respectively.
