Pistol (CNAIR): We are launching auction for six more modern service spaces on Romanian highways

The National Road Infrastructure Management Company (CNAIR) is launching the tender for six more modern service areas on motorways, three of which will be opened on the Moldovan Motorway (A7).

"We are launching the tender for 6 more modern service areas on Romanian highways! People need modern roads, but also quality services and that is what we want to offer them. In this regard, today we sent to ANAP the documentation for the concession of service areas on 4 new high-speed roads. These new areas will be equipped with fuel pumps, electric charging stations, snack-food areas, toilets and showers. Three of these new service areas will be opened on the A7 (Moldova Motorway), which we will travel on next year until Pascani, in the area of the localities of Baba Ana (km 28+400), Valea Ramnicului (km 91+000) and Milcovul (km 131+000)", noted, on his Facebook page, the general director of CNAIR, Cristian Pistol.

The other three service areas will be located on the Craiova - Pitesti Express Road, on the A1 and on the A0 North.

"We have not forgotten about the other three important, high-speed roads: DEx12 (Craiova - Pitesti), where we will open new service areas (in both directions), in the area of the Colonesti locality (km 83+850); A1 (km 229), on the Sibiu-Boita section, in both directions; on A0 Nord (km 24), in the area of the Balotesti locality (in both directions)," added the head of CNAIR.

The contract winners will have a maximum of 18 months (after the issuance of the Commencement Orders) to open these new service spaces to the public.
