According to a release of the Government sent to AGERPRES, Viorica Dancila checked out on Friday the stage of the works at the investment landmark "Regularization of Slanic riverbed - in the area of Targu Ocna and Slanic Moldova, Bacau county."
The head of the Gov't was accompanied by Waters and Forestry Minister Ioan Denes, Interior Minister Carmen Dan and Transport Minister Lucian Sova, while Deputy Director General of the 'Romanian Waters' National Administration Dorel Dume presented the execution stage, the technical characteristics, the purpose and details related to this landmark.
"We are carefully monitoring the execution stage for the restoration of landmarks destroyed or affected by the summer floods. We allocated the necessary money for their emergency restoration in the Government, so that people's life and assets, and social landmarks in the area no longer be endangered by floods during the rainy season of the year," Dancilla stated.
According to the Executive, the investment is worth 3.9 million lei and it was approved by the Government, with urgent funding through Government Decision No.582/2018. The deadline for its completion is December 2018.
