President Klaus Iohannis believes that the idea of a referendum on changing of the political system of the country into a monarchy was a "smoke bomb." The head of the state specified on Wednesday during an informal meeting with the journalists that a referendum on this issue was not even possible from a constitutional viewpoint.
He claimed that the topic was a forced one. With respect to the Royal House, President Iohannis showed that a clarification was indeed needed, but a "reasonable" one.
