AGERPRES special correspondent Florentina Peia reports: President Klaus Iohannis stated on Sunday, after the meeting of the European Council, that he'll see first hand the violence in Paris, on the occasion of the visit that the head of state will pay to France.
"No, but I will see them, as they say, first hand, probably," Iohannis stated, when asked by a journalist if he had seen the violence in Paris.
He underscored that he doesn't want to make comments regarding these violence, not even if a reaction at European level is expected just as it was in Romania's case, after the protests of 10 August.
"You know very well that I do not comment on what other do in their internal affairs and internal security, so don't expect me to comment on these things. Everyone with his/her approach, I am with my approach that I will comment on what we are doing in Romania for Romania and if I go to France you won't hear me making a comment referring to what the French people do in their country," Iohannis said.
President Klaus Iohannis will pay an official visit to France on Monday and Tuesday.
