The number of people using drugs "has been growing," and the measures in this regard "must be correct," President Klaus Iohannis said on Wednesday.

The head of state participates in the NATO Anniversary Summit in Washington D.C.

"We have had too many accidents and too many incidents here.

The drugs problem has continued to grow. You know very well the discussions in the public space. There are problems with drugs even in schools, sometimes there are drives who take drugs and we must take measures, but these measures must be correct.

This is exactly why the ordinance must be given when the Government has all the measures ready, not the other way around.

First we give the ordinance and then we run for the doctors, testing etc.

So, I think that it's better to put the horse before the cart here too," said Iohannis, when asked about the recent measures announced by the Government in this area.
