President Nicusor Dan will participate on Thursday in the European Council meeting in Brussels, the Presidential Administration has announced.
The agenda of the European Council will focus on the situation in Ukraine, developments in the Middle East, European security and defence, EU competitiveness and the twin transition, access to housing, migration, and the Republic of Moldova, the Presidential Administration said in a statement sent to AGERPRES on Tuesday.
On Wednesday, President Dan will attend a working dinner hosted by European Council President Antonio Costa with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi on the sidelines of the EU-Egypt institutional summit, aimed at strengthening the partnership between the European Union and Egypt.
Also on the sidelines of the European Council, an extended Euro Summit will be held to discuss the EU's economic situation, with a focus on the Economic and Monetary Union and the digital euro.
