Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan received the Prime Minister of Slovakia, Robert Fico, at Victoria Palace, on Friday, in a ceremony with military honours and the playing of the Slovak and Romanian national anthems.
According to the schedule announced by the Government, the two heads of government will hold a tete-a-tete meeting, followed by a plenary session with their delegations during an official working lunch.
The two senior officials will also take part in the signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding on cooperation between the ministries of culture of Romania and the Slovak Republic, valid for a period of five years.
In the afternoon, the prime ministers will travel to Oradea, where they will meet representatives of the Slovak community in Romania.
Earlier in the morning, Robert Fico was received by President Nicusor Dan at Cotroceni Palace.
