The joint order of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MADR) and the Ministry of Internal Affairs to amend the Regulation on the management of emergency situations caused by dangerous weather phenomena has been published in the Official Journal, MADR informs in a press release.
"Order no. 271/112/2024 has been published in the Official Journal for the amendment of Annex no. 4 to the Regulation on the management of emergency situations generated by dangerous weather phenomena resulting in the occurrence of soil drought, approved by the OMADR and the Minister of Interior Affairs no. 97/63/2020," the release reads.
Thus, according to the new regulations, the minutes of the survey and assessment of damage to agricultural crops will be drawn up in accordance with the new approved provisions. The area affected will be determined by the Commission for the Assessment and Evaluation of Damage to Agricultural Crops.
As far as the assessment of the level of production on the affected area is concerned, the assessment and evaluation of the production on the affected area shall be carried out by the Committee for the Assessment and Evaluation of Damage to Agricultural Crops, in accordance with the technical rules for the evaluation of production for each affected crop.
The situation of the crops at the date of the damage will be determined by analysing the stage of development, aspects of damage, measures applied by the agricultural producer to reduce or limit the damage, details of the existing situation at the time of the report, with reference to the areas within the irrigable perimeter, respectively how much of the affected area is located within the irrigable perimeter (ha).
