Romania exported in the first ten months of 2017 medical and pharmaceutical products amounting to 640.4 million euros, by 7.2% higher than in the same period of the previous year, according to the data centralized by the National Institute of Statistics (INS).
The imports of medical and pharmaceutical products stood at 2.502 billion euros, by 8% higher than in January-October 2016, with a deficit of 1.862 billion euros in this segment.In the first ten months of 2017, Romania's FOB exports amounted to 52.361 billion euros and increased by 9.2% over the previous year, and CIF imports totaled 62.583 billion euros, up 12.4%.
