Ukraine's Foreign Affairs Minister Andrii Sybiha requested, within a meeting with his counterparts from Romania and the Republic of Moldova, Oana Toiu, Mihai Popsoi, respectively, military support to withstand the war started by Russia.

At the end of a Romania-Ukraine-the Republic of Moldova trilateral meeting held in Chernivtsi, the Ukrainian minister stated that his country's allies should develop a joint production of air defence systems.

He said that peace can only be attained only through force, adding that joint solutions and actions are needed. He mentioned that Ukraine must benefit from a stronger support, first and foremost, military aid is essential, air defense systems, ammunition, long-range weapons, drones, adding that a successful solution would be an investment in defence systems and joint production.

The head of the Ukrainian diplomacy called for support to restore peace in Ukraine, as well as to accelerate his country's European integration process, as well as that of the Republic of Moldova. He said that the paths of Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova toward the European Union are as inseparable as their security. The Ukrainian minister said that the two countries cannot be divided, concluding that they are moving toward the EU together.
