Romanians Eduard Fecu and Darius Vlaicu on Wednesday progressed straight to the final of the C2 M500 junior event at the 2024 ICF Junior and U23 Canoe Sprint World at Championships at Plovdiv, Bulgaria, after ranking third in the first heat (01:48.109).
The heat was won by Brazilians Lucas Espirito Santo Santos and Mateus Nunes Bastos dos Santos (01:45.723). Second came Chinese Wenxiang Lu and Wenjie Fan (01:47.204).
