The Romanian Senate and the Chamber of Deputies met on Monday in a joint session during which the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenski, is giving a speech by videoconference.
Prime Minister Nicolae Ciuca is also present, Agerpres.ro informs.
According to the schedule approved by the joint Standing Bureaus, the heads of the two parliamentary chambers, Florin Citu and Marcel Ciolacu, as well as the Prime Minister Nicolae Ciuca will hold short speeches in the beginning of the session.
About a quarter of an hour was allotted for the speech of the President of Ukraine.
Since Russia's invasion of Ukraine on February 24, Volodymyr Zelensky has had video speeches in the Parliaments of several states, including the United Kingdom, Canada, the United States, Germany, Italy, Israel, Poland, and the European Parliament. He also spoke at a special NATO Summit in Brussels in March.
