Developing cooperation with Indonesian authorities through an effective exchange of data and information for the purpose of preventing and combating crime, was one of the topics discussed at a meeting on Thursday between the Deputy General Inspector of the Romanian Police Adrian Ciprian Miron ambassador of Indonesia in Bucharest Amhar Azeth.
"The Indonesian partners praised the Romanian Police for their professionalism and stressed the importance of exchanging information and good practices in combating all forms of crime," according to the General Inspectorate of the Romanian Police (IGPR).
Miron is quoted as voicing confidence in good international police co-operation between the two countries and as thanking for the availability of the Indonesian authorities in the conduct of joint activities.
He also said that bilateral relations with the authorities of Indonesia are very important to the Romanian Police in their fight against crime.
