Romanian students win two silver medals, special awards at World Robot Olympiad - European Championship

Romanian students won two silver medals and special prizes at the World Robot Olympiad - European Championship, which took place from September 2 to 5, in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

The event brought together dozens of teams from around the world, who competed with innovative projects and autonomous robots in the Robomission and Future Innovators categories.

According to a press release, the Association of Robotics, Educational Technologies and Applied Sciences - ARTESA supported the participation of the teams of the Inventika Place robotics club, which represented Romania and returned with remarkable results:

* 3 Ways of Garbage - 2nd place, in the Future Innovators Junior High category (11-15 years old), with the TriSense project, an intelligent robot therapist for children with neurodivergences;

* Robot Factory - Fantastic Focus Award, in the Robomission Starter category (6-10 years), for the best time and most precise execution of the missions;

* Robo Wizards - Greatest Teamwork Award, in the Robomission Starter category (6-10 years), for the remarkable collaboration and team spirit demonstrated throughout the competition.

Along with the teams supported by ARTESA, Romania was also successfully represented by the Paxi team, from the Eu Codez club in Piatra Neamt, which won 2nd place in the Future Innovators Elementary category (8-12 years).

The Smart Vision Robotics 738 team, also from Inventika Place and supported by ARTESA, is preparing intensively to represent Romania at the World Robot Olympiad 2025 Open Championship Middle East and North Africa, Future Innovators Elementary category (8-12 years), which will take place in Jubail, Saudi Arabia, between October 24 and 26.
